Pretty cool covers. Some of those I've never seen before.

Re: Favorite Modern Comic Covers
Looks like I got these signed just over 20 years ago. The good ol days. It was a show in San Jose, where I traded my stash of Leifeld New Mutants for many of my first Valiant treasures. Unity #0 Red, both EW golds, A&A gold ...
Anyway, Art Adams was at the show and I got him to sign the three Fantastic Four covers, 348 might be one of my favorites all time. I feel like his art still holds up very well.
(excuse the crappy scans)

OK, not a cover but one of my favorite Valiant collectibles. I know this isn't super rare or anything but I spotted it leaning in a cabinet waaaaay back when - I asked the guy if it was for sale and he was like "ummmmm sure it is ... $5." I didn't care, I had to have it.

Love me some Arthur Adams! Got hooked when Longshot came out and have been picking up his comics ever since. Great cover choices.

Re:
I started collecting this title for a few reasons, mainly since you have brought it up a few times in posts like this one. I found the earlier issues on the cheap, just hoping I can stumble across someone who has a bargain box copy of issue #12. Never been a big Transformers guy, but I watched the TV show as a kid and always enjoy collecting shorter series.Cyberstrike wrote:
The Transformers: Generation 2 #1 The second Transformers comic book series is darker, meaner, and more edgy.
The Transformers: Generation 2 #5 Even Megatron likes Shakespeare! This is one of those covers that makes me smile because Megatron looks like he's having fun while being just so damn evil too.
The Transformers: Generation 2 #12 All good things must come to an end and so did this era of Transformers comics while they did come back to comics, it's a real pity that this series will never get a proper end.

The Marvel UK series had some really cool covers (and some really lame ones as well) but trying to find only high-quality scans of the covers is not as easy as one thinks.

Re: Favorite Modern Comic Covers
Although i sometimes hate the way variants are distributed and sold, there is something pretty cool about the themed Marvel books, from the 50's to 70's, Wolverine, Iron Man, Villains etc etc. I dont pay more than cover for any of them, sometimes as low as 99p, but ill get them all eventually and put them on display, once i reopen a store.

I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

I remember seeing this image in previews. A great image. I got the tiny card and had Joe Q sign it.R Daneel wrote:OK, not a cover but one of my favorite Valiant collectibles. Solar 5, definitely a great cover.

Re: Favorite Modern Comic Covers
Solar 5 is definitely in my Top 5 favorite covers - along with Solar 3, Dark Knight Returns 1 and 2...and another one that changes daily.
