I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

What a great give away that would be. Buy all new issues and get a free control ring!

I just saw this on Newsarama and knew there was no way I beat you guys to the punch on the news. I think this is very cool. It's the first time in a long time that I've been relatively excited about a new comic.

Me three! I'm all about the extras. Promotional items. Any plans for those type of things?

Clean shaven ... Hmmmmmm good point ... could it be that he is not a "barbarian" at all? If he is, where did he get the razors?? :hm:
Well obviously he used his lightening sword to shave for his big date tonight.... DUH! :D
Not sure if that would happen... Those shoulder pads look like they make it VERY difficult for XO to raise his arms more than 8 inches. Haha

I'm sure a sentient good skin could figure a way around that. ;)

You would think, right ?

But that was my first thought when I first laid eyes on the pic and I'll be interested to see how the armor can make that happen in a logical way.

The armor would have to offer complete flexibility if it were to work at all.

Regardless I'm totally interested in this version of XO.

I think it needs a two buttoned butt flap like on a kids jumper.

It could also be the sword just detroyed something as DJ mentioned. I don't think those are ships, but I could be wrong.
The main thing that looks like ships to me is the 3 that look to be "coming in for a landing" around the X-O Manowar title and behind the white box below.
The one just below his right wrist also looks like it has short wings like a stealth fighter or the concept drawings of hypersonic planes.

Some of the other ones just look like pieces of rock, though. :D
Yeah, I wondered about the Flying Rocks as well. Why spent any amount of time on these things if they serve no purpose or make sense?

The energy sword makes absolute sense to me though. Now why you need an energy sword when you can just blow a hole through a mountain with the onboard weaponry of the armor BUT it would be intrinsic to a barbarian.

I like how the little red "UAV" has been incorporated from the old armor.

Someone on twitter said we should send Tebow after it. With just a knife.

We should just have Chuck Norris send a tersely worded postcard.

If the "knife" Tebow was armed with was a single hair from Chuck Norris's beard, he would be unstoppable.

It can be taken. However, that means paralyzing Chuck with a terrible vision. I'm not sure what would work. Maybe a dose of reality to battle neocon delusions...
