I would say 1-5 in NM. And 13 both printings seem to be HTF. There's also a 19 SDCC glow in the dark variant.

Chew is the only series I've ever been tempted to buy variants for, there are some pretty cool covers!

Picked up two mario bros #3 and 4 volume 2 (the one with the fish) for cover. This wasn't a screaming deal I just felt like I should go through with a transaction because I had a dealer bring a bunch of valiants in his inventory to a small show. I don't think I'm gonna make that mistake again - he was asking $5-10 a piece for preunity issues (Rai/Magnus/Solar) for VF issues - giving sellers a heads up want you want so they can research ahead of time.

I also chatted with a very large dealer from MTL who was trying to sell the most beat-up FF#1 I've ever seen. He said he had someone go through his valiant/acclaim inventory a few weeks back, so when he asked what issues in particular I just said it depends on the run. I don't want to tip any big dealer off on super htf acclaim variants that they were previously ignorant about :P

Not a comic but something I got for my girlfriend for Christmas who is a history buff. A King James I of Cyprus dated 1382-1398 King of Jerusalem Crusader coin. He claimed the title King of Jerusalem even though the kingdom of Jerusalem had ceased to exist 1303. It was a title claimed by Cyprus/Italian Kings all the way until Umberto II in 1946.

$13.00 shipped for a coin in fair condition that is over 700 years old.

At the swap meet this morning I picked up Solar 1-19 (1st and 2nd printing of #10) for $20. He was asking $1 per book and I felt so bad about it that I bought 12-19 too. He had 20 or so long boxes of $1 books and he said that he had more Valiants at home. I got his number so I'm hoping to score some more pre Unity stuff. :hope:

That would be nice to snag more Valiants at that price if he's got more good ones. :thumb:

I went over to his house today. He had a garage full of long and short boxes with a little bit of everything. Nothing was very organized, and we couldn't dig up any more than half a Turok run and the first half of A&A. He was sure he had all the Harbinger and Magnus books but we couldn't find them. He's got my number if he does come across them. :hope:

This one was the regular version but I almost got the "Star Wars: Union" nick and dent until it disappeared in the cart. I noticed alot of the hardcovers disappeared from the site during that sale but now they're back on the store. There must have been some phantom shoppers that didn't complete the checkout back then.
