Solar can time travel too.. just not in that way.
If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

Time Arcs and he had no control of when he went

Solar opened a black hole and swallowed the old universe and then recreated a new universe to stop the accident from happening again. His personality then split into 2 halves, One being was "Doctor Solar" the comic character, the other was Dr. Phil Seleski. They fought for a while and then re-merged. They then met up with the 'past" Dr. Seleski and then absorbed him before the accident happened again. He then Became one being again, Seleski/Solar.

But he was still pure energy and no longer human right?

He was pure energy,i remember one of the first issues (havent read it in a year or so)where he was stabbed during a prison riot and the energy released from the cut killed the inmate.
