Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
I have more ivories than I do normal issues. saying that I have three issues in total, so only two ivories.
Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
As common as this book has been reported to be among board members, the rush should be on to get some of these slabbed. Then, board members can put at least part of the profits into the Valiant economy.

Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
The bidders must have no idea what they are bidding on. X-O #0 is not hard to find in 9.8 and the ivory "print error" are very common.

Absolutely. My guess is they think that a low CGC census number means the book is impossible to find.FormerReader wrote:The bidders must have no idea what they are bidding on. X-O #0 is not hard to find in 9.8 and the ivory "print error" are very common.
Unfortunately, I think we probably have a hundred of these just among the regular posters on this board.
It's probably as common as X-O #15 Pink.

I don't suppose someone could post a picture of each side by side. When I look at the copies I have , they all look ivory to me.

Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
I only have three copies of X-O Manowar #0 and they are all ivory, so what does that tell you? It tell me that I need to pickup a non error one now

Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
If I had some of those, I'd submit a couple to CGC.

Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
I saw that auction too and was wondering what the deal was. It looks like the high price is all due to two bidders fighting back and forth for it. Someone just got a great deal, though.

Three different bidders bid at least 265.00. Four different bidders bid at least 200.00.

Re: X-O 0 Ivory for auction
Wow, that's crazy.
This weekend I decided to due a full inventory of my valiant/acclaim comics and when i got to X-O I noticed one of my issues for 0 (I have 2 copies) was "yellowish." I never knew about this "ivory" version so I just figured the colors bled through or something, haha.
Can't believe people bid such ridiculous $$ for that.

I am with you..... I would never pay that much for that comic, but would pay $12 for two.
