Gamestop has Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 NEW for only $9.99 so I had to pick that up.

Interrupted finishing Skyrim to play Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Interrupted finishing AC:R to play Mass Effect 3. Currently bouncing between ME3 on Xbox and Star Wars TOR on PC. It's a good thing that I don't have issues with finishin

I am also hoping it does but with Sega having the financial trouble they are. That might not happen..Jay Tomio wrote:I'm so hoping Phantasy Star Online 2 comes to the U.S.

Could be to do with releasing sub-par games ever since and letting nearly anyone make games in their name.xodacia81 wrote:Sega has been in financial trouble since the Saturn launched...betterthanezra wrote:I am also hoping it does but with Sega having the financial trouble they are. Yep. The Walking Dead - Episode One (of 5)
First thoughts - Pretty damn GOOD!!
I love the visual style. Cell shaded (a bit like XIII)
But in the style of Charlie Adlard's drawings.
It's nice and violent and is certainly not for kids. Lots of cussing, just like the book.
I love this game so far.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Finished up the Shivering Isles expansion pack for Oblivion. Xbox Live still wants 2400 Microsoft points ($30.00), so I bought a used copy of the GOTY version of Oblivion for 7 bucks (which has two expansions on the second disc).
While it is a fun add on with quite a few quests and locations it is definitely not worth the 30 dollar asking price. It's size is boasted as being a quarter of the size of the main game, but most of the locations serve no real purpose unless you just like to wander around and collect the same items over and over. The main quest is fun and the dialogue is actually better than the main game, but once you've completed it, the side quest are really a let down for the most part. If you find a used copy for under 10 bucks then I would recommend it, just don't pay the full price.

Mass Effect 3 on my PS3.
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360. I don't think it's "the greatest RPG in the last 5-10 years" that it has been hyped as, but still a really good game.

Me too. If anybody here picks it up, hit me up, I'll for sure be enjoying it for quite a while!Jay Tomio wrote:I'm so hoping Phantasy Star Online 2 comes to the U.S.
Playing a bit of AION lately since it's free to play, as well as my usual Rift. On the console side, still a bit of ME3 multiplayer (eagerly awaiting the ending DLC before I beat the series) and catching up on some Wii games (Punch-Out!! is first on the list, and I've got Xenoblade waiting in the wings).

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Finished up AC Brotherhood last night. This series just keeps getting better and better, IMO. I'm definitely going to pick up Revelations very soon so I can finish Ezio's storyline. The fighting and climbing have been tweaked for the better this time around and I loved the addition of maps for the flags and feather locations. Also, liked the addition of the crossbow and parachute. The Rome layout was huge, but nicely laid out and it made finding your bearings a little easier.
The only minor critique would be the secret glyph puzzles for the subject 16 message. Some of puzzles (actually a lot of them) were a pain to solve and it takes quite some time to find the 10 locations scattered all over the huge area. The payoff wasn't really work it, IMO. <some spoilers>....... After completing it, you get a lame 2 minute Desmond "mission" and at the end you meet a representation of subject 16 and he says one or two garbled sentences. You can't even make heads or tails out of what he's talking about. As far into the series as we're getting, I really expected a nice plot reveal or at least answer the question about the situation with Lucy that happens in the end of the game.

Re: What video game are you currently playing?
Been playing Alpha Protocol on the 360. The premise is pretty standard, you're a spy working for a secret government organization and you're sent out on various missions acquiring info and eliminating enemies. The game has a dialogue response system similar to Mass Effect or Fallout. The choices you make determine whether someone will like you or give you aid in upcoming missions. Neat aspect, but I don't like the fact that you only have 5 seconds to make up your mind which answer to choose.
Gameplay is pretty weak and the weapons are not very imaginative. The pistol is virtually useless and makes it difficult to complete missions where you need to be more covert. What's the point of having a silencer and a stealth mode if you can't get a one shot kill to remain undetected? You almost have to unload a full clip into someone and by that time they will start shooting and alert everyone to your position.
The level up system is a nice concept, but if fails miserably with this game. Mainly because of how few points you get each time. The game is practically over before you start to get some decent attributes. Average game, but it could have been so much more, if they would have paid better attention to details.

Currently at the Lhusu Mines-first visit-in Final Fantasy XII. One of my fave games and top 4 in the series, imo. I play through it about every year or so.

I'm still playing WoW. I tried Diablo 3. Not impressed. I played SW:TOR for awhile. It was fun to level but the raids were boring. I heard some talk about it possibly going free to play. I don't know to what extent but I'd definitely go back to it if it does.
