I still hold my assertion that I think the price of harbinger 1 in 9.8 has stabilized in the $500-700 range. Maybe it goes above 1k again, but it won't be for awhile...price trends take time.

You might be right. I figured board members would be picking these up at least. I think $500 is the correct price, I just didn't think it would last at that price. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I just think the number of people that want a 9.8 is limited, and there's already a decent supply available. Aside from a couple of the ultra rare acclaim books, I have a full VH1-VH2 set, and I would rather get the a copy of the QR variant, then spend good money on a harbinger 1 9.8. If they were cheap, sure I would consider it. I'm not interested in paying good money for them, and I think also if the price got back up to around 1k a lot of the buyers who purchased around 5-700 would list their copies, driving the price back downward.
