End of discussion imo right here :thumb:
Except this is incorrect. Bloodshot appears in costume in Rai #0. If Rai #0 is his "first appearance", it is also his first appearance in costume. The printed page doesn't lie.

The only thing I have not been able to confirm is that Eternal Warrior #4 came out a few weeks before Rai #0. We can deduce that it did, but I have seen no confirmation of this.
I hear you there. I'm also of the school of thought that a cameo isn't really a first appearance. To me a first appearance of a character needs at least a little bit of character development. I don't think popping up an epilogue counts. I really wish i could remember which came out first. My recollection is getting Rai #0 first but i mean hell that book was so epic and it was so long ago i have no idea.

Actually, it is very easy to argue with that. I own a comic book that I bought in 1992, a couple weeks before I bought Rai #0. It has Bloodshot in it. I bought both off the stands. I bought one before the other. The first was Eternal Warrior #4. A couple weeks later was Rai #0. Both have Bloodshot in it.

I am perfectly fine with considering Rai #0 the First Appearance of Bloodshot, just like I consider Hulk #181 the First Appearance of Wolverine. Just don't tell me those are the first appearances of those characters.
was too far behind on the thread and didn't see this first oooops. I agree 100%.

Hey, leave me out of this mess facepalm

FWIW, the answer is obviously EW 4. If you want to consider that a cameo and Rai 0 first full, I'm ok with that.

I'm not sure. Maybe I have, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me if I did.

Generally, I stay away from the Haight. That's not the neighborhood for me.

I was always thought it was like this super epic hippie place. Makes me think of R. Crumb and Janis Joplin hanging around the same area getting messed up.
