Well, I found myself in a comic book store today, and purchased issues 1-3 of John Byrne's Trio, from IDW. Looking forward to reading them!

It's OK. I guess, but I've keep getting this weird feeling that this Marvel's answer to Batwoman.

There is a major difference between them for me, I feel like that with Kate Kane aka Batwoman like I've always known her, even though I've only started reading Batwoman a few months ago. I don't have the feeling with Carol Danvers aka Captian Marvel even though I've read more stories with her in them. If that makes any sense. :?

Back on topic:
I just got the all-new, all different Batwoman #0.

Made a small purchase with my eBay bucks last night. Picked up Namor 1-4... from the early 90s series. If I like them I'll work on getting that series.

Is that the series where Jae Lee does the art? I picked up a few issues from that series (because of a Doctor Doom appearance...he was my favorite villain from Marvel). The art was weird. Did John Byrne write (or plot?) that series? Been a while since I've read it...

It's the series you are thinking about, yes. I believe Byrne scripted and pencilled the beginning of the series, and Jae Lee took over the art for awhile at some point. Namor's one of my favorite characters, and I want to check the series out. I can probably get most of the issues for a third or even a fourth of what new books would cost me.

I just got back from CBU and picked up a copy of Sword of Sorcery #0.

The owner had already gotten the new books in (just the ones that I normally pick up X-Factor #245, Harbinger #5, X-O Manowar #6, Sword of Sorcery #1, and the biggest surprise was that Shinku #5 finally came in :o ) and he was busy counting and sorting the rest of them.

Sadly he said he couldn't sell me any of them until tomorrow. :!:

Heck of a deal! I predict that first Harely Quinn appearance will be a $100+ book before too long....plus since it was something of a 'kids' book tends to make it a little tougher in high grade.

I wonder what the print run on that book is? Can't be too high.

If you haven't read these two Daredevil storylines, I highly recommend them:

Daredevil: Lady Bullseye
Daredevil: Return of the King

Both are easy to find in tpb form, and are connected in that "Lady Bullseye" must be read first.
