They are building one in the Earth 2 title. They just made all the JSA people suck.

They have yet to mention Mondays or Solomon's feelings about them. They are playing him up as the Earth 2 version of "the rot" or some force of decay/death that is the opposite number of Swamp Thing's green life force. More frustratingly, a future version of Grundy is shown in one of the Batman Beyond Unlimited vignettes. That Grundy is intelligent, lucid and menacing as opposed to the lame creature of Earth 2.

If I remember right, his first death was in something like 1889? I imagine when he was first introduced, that date was 50 or so years removed, as opposed to the generations that separate us now. I have often wondered if he seemed less out of place in the 40s than he does today.

I think Marvel pulled some similar numbers for their Uncanny Avengers 1...

I am one of those who liked the first 4 or 5 issues of the new JL; Jim Lee's art is fantastic IMHO and the writing, despite being simplistic super-hero stuff, had it's moments- the first interactions between Bats and GL were kinda fun.

But by issue 7 or 8, I was getting tired of it and cancelled my subscription after reading the Graves' arc. It's boring and I'm not willing to pay 3,99 for pictures atm.
