The official word is that they're 1:50 line-wide. It's not publicly known how many are actually printed, but in the case of this variant word is that there were some distributed that should not have been (i.e. above the quantity that was earned).

Seriously? Wow. It would have been nice to have snagged one, but my shop had them at normal variant prices.

IC had 59 copies at cover price,

. so I bought all of them. Worst comes, I sell this at cover or give them out as extra books.

Surprisingly, all the books were NM/NM+ condition including bags and board.

When would a 1:50 Line Wide Variant be available for cover again.

A&A #5 1:50?

Only in my dreams or when Diamond does their thing again.

I remember Dino saying... "If you get get them at cover... you hit the jackpot"

I'm taking the man's word.

every shop in my town had them mixed together. i bought my normal 1 of each. heard of the debacle and when back to buy more to trade with.
i bought a couple from each shop i go to, 6 total. one shop found out it was 1:50 and pulled about what were 10 left on the shelves and listed them for 39.99

there is 3 bigger shops in my city, all had 10+ issues. the biggest shop maybe had 30 on Wednesday. seemed to be match quantity wise to pullbox copies they put on the shelves.

Wowsa... just based on these numbers, Im going to guess that there are more than 1000 of these.. anyone else have a guess? Too bad we couldnt get official release numbers.

id like to see a distribution layout of state to state. in austin TX we got a ton in stores.
maybe some states didnt get any.

Here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, 1 store I checked on the weekend had 8 or 9 of them.

I don't think this is rare at all.
