Slabbing it was the right decision on this one. There can be big price swings depending on the grade. Don't be surprised if you receive higher than you think it deserves though. The one I submitted, I expected a 9.4 and a 9.2 wouldn't have surprised me, but it came back 9.6.

Thanks for the input, and the back-up on slabbing it.

I think I said it before; I really don't like that cover dent on the back, and anticipate CGC beating me up for it. Otherwise, it's an extremely tight raw copy.

At this stage, I'm expecting a 9.4, maybe as low as a 9.2; but if I end up with a 9.6 like you did, I would not be upset about it

I don't know how anyone could own an unslabbed one. Even one that had been through the ringer, I think I would slab.

"Six day total turn around time? Yeah, cannot complain about that. 'course, aLOT of that had to do with the service I selected, which was "Express"; an $85 grading fee, even with my 10% discount . S&H was another $35 on top of that; what a scam . Regardless, bein' that I'm "right next door" to 'em (five miles from the FL state line), I always get my slabs back within one or two days from when they ship 'em out. That I like "
