GENERATION ZERO List

Post by BugsySig »

I thought I would start a thread tracking the 30+ PRS Kids--who will play such a large role in Harbinger War--as they are introduced. I will list Name/Code Name and Powers if known. Top post will be updated accordingly.

1. Blaster, Explosive Blast
2. Kalea/Cloud, Telepathy?
3. Clem, Brain Hacking?/Telepathy?
4. Maggie, Cloaking/Camouflage?
5. James, Cloaking/Camouflage?
6. Christian/Chronus, Healing/Psychic Surgery
7. Russell/Wee Mad Mac/Traveller, Teleportation via unknown dimension
8. Tara/Telic, "Quantum Flow" visualization & prediction
9. Pier/The Hive, Lofe force drain
10. Isaiah/Little Castle, Force Field
11. Howl, unknown
12. Nora/Serenade, Sonic/Brain wave manipulation
13. Jessica/Astral, Astral projection
14. Simon/Atomus, Flight
15. Ian/Ramsey, Light manipulation
16. Baxter/Titan, Psychic monster projection

Update: Changed thread title to match the official name for the group of PRS escapees.
Update 2: Added kids from Harbinger Wars #1 preview and Harbinger Wars Sketchbook.
Update 3: Added kids from http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page ... e&id=44522

I might have to go back and review, but I thought that brain-hacking psiot was Clem, the guy with the shaved head in #8. He seemed to have a relationship with Cloud that would suggest it's the same person. Not sure.

I agree, but won't confirm as of yet since issue 7 was a flashback. Would make the most sense given we saw every other kid from that issue in #8 as well.

This is going to be so awesome! I really appreciate this board. It brings reading these comics to a whole new level. You guys see things that I cannot and I love it getting pointed out to me.

Okay, here's an interesting thing to consider; I asked the Valiant panel at NYCC whether there were any plans to launch a series featuring brand new characters. Warren's response was that there was plenty to work with in the catalogue of what was acquired without introducing new characters (or something along those lines). While certainly that doesn't mean they're only going to use existing characters (and of course, they have introduced new characters), I wonder if these kids will match up in some way to VH1 properties.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I can't remember who said it (JD or DS or Warren) in one of the HW interviews, but someone said the kids would include some familiar faces, some new faces and some familiar powers.

So those familiar faces could come from any number of VH1 Harbingers: B-Squad, Egg Breakers, Ax and his crew or even PunX and the Trouble Makers.

Gee I must have missed that, no wonder I stopped reading Valiant.

If they were reduced to that their death was more than well deserved.

I think, like the Liefeld-esque cover to PunX #1, it was meant to be satire...but when it came to the 90s you just never could tell.

Clearly satire. True, in the '90s, you had to go above and beyond into absurdity for that to be clear; this qualifies.

Really impressed with the latest Harbinger Wars preview and the characters of Telic and Traveler/Wee Mad Mack. Hope we get to see the rest of PRSs A-Team in action!

Can't wait to see more of all these kids. I wonder who had the tech to 'activate' psiots first? Harada or PRS? And did one of them get it from the other, or did they develop it independantly?

This is a great idea, since between Bloodshot and Harbinger they've introduced a couple dozen psiots and honestly I've pretty much forgotten most of the ones that were at Harbinger headquarters, and of course have a hard time keeping track of the ones in Bloodshot.

Sounding more and more like Traveler is able to reach the Deadside. Looking forward to the day (should he survive Harbinger Wars) he bumps into Jack. :o
