Parking at comic-con?
So I see that they are selling parking permits at Comic-Con.
I will be renting a car, but had planned on driving to a trolley stop, then taking the trolley there. Does anyone recommend getting a parking permit instead?

A parking permit would probably be the best bet.cjv wrote:So I see that they are selling parking permits at Comic-Con.

I believe they are sold out, however.
Opportunities may come up though, keep an eye out.
Having a place to stash your stuff at a mid-point in the show is gonna be really nice at a show like SDCC (or any show really), but especially SDCC. Those days are looooong. The less you can get away with carrying, the better you will feel.

I had a parking spot last year.
It was amazing. And for the amount of stuff I buy, complete necessary.

Re: Parking at comic-con?
I just checked, and the ones RIGHT next to the con are sold out. However, the ones that are two or three blocks away (like at the ballpark) are available. Are those too far away?Dr. Solar wrote:A parking permit would probably be the best bet.cjv wrote:So I see that they are selling parking permits at Comic-Con.

If not, I will go for a spot!

That's real close, definitely not too far away. You'll do so much walking every day that a few extra blocks is nothing.

But if you would have had a OMT (Old Man Tricycle) then you would not have walked we me and Blood after the infamous......
"GIT" moment. That was the single best time of the con last year.
