Finally, everyone's addresses have been confirmed and labeled onto the packages. Everyone should have a tracking # by email or by PM.
(Next time I need to get more prepared to have the information needed ready for shipment or it takes longer to mail these many packages)

I would have shipped all but two packages yesterday, but the USPS station here does not let me ship more than five packages all at one time. (I don't know why that is) Last time I shipped 20+ pre-paid flat rate envelopes. (Wondercon Exclusives) the Postmaster really said not bring this many packages.. They really said that they can't accept more that five packages... If I did, I would need to take them to the next station which is a good four-five miles away. Totally does not make sense to me, since the packages all were all pre-paid for (click and ship). This isn't a small USPS Extension, but a USPS Facility in Downtown LA.

So I requested for a carrier pickup which will be done on Saturday. ETA for everyone's packages to be delivered is 2-3 business days. Earliest by Wednesday! (if USPS does pick them up on Saturday). If not, before the end of the week! Thanks for everyone's patience.

I have had USPS not pick up the carrier pick up that I have requested on Saturday either. My mailcarrier came on Monday and acted like the order was requested for Monday. She had the request and showed me. The request had Saturday's date

She asked me where the packages were and I told her I dropped them off at mailboxes etc on Saturday when she failed to pick them up. She said something about her boss not being happy and I just kind of shrugged.

Anyway thanks for getting all of this done! Can't wait to get mine!

UPDATE: Everyone should be getting their books very soon! Sorry for the delays these have caused. (Hawkeye from Canada had delivered some of his books while I'm domestic and haven't even gotten them out yet.) :!: But believe me, they will be worth the wait considering how these were packed.

And Finally, all the books were shipped out on Monday, May 20th. I went back to the station near my work to drop them off personally. USPS confirmed that this USPS Station does not allow me to leave more than 5+ packages with them because they are "short staffed and have to sort through them".

Last Friday, I had requested carrier pickup for Saturday, but USPS did not show. Also they did not show on Monday either. (Unbelievable)

I was allowed to leave the station 20+ packages only because I had printed out the carrier pickup request (no show)... so the postmaster made an exception.

Thanks for confirming... Great! I did not expect USPS to deliver these so quickly due to the shortage of man power at our USPS Station. If anyone can share any photos of the package, that would be appreciated. Plus feel free to post if anyone is doing their reviews for the TPBs. I'm sure VEI will appreciate those reviews.

It actually took me some time to get these books sorted distributed fairly. You will notice that I placed the worst condition books on each end so that if there was any chance of damage in the transit, the NM or better books would sustain the least amount of damages.

This would not be possible without Greg Holland and Michael Tierney, owner of the local Comic Book Store, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Enjoy!!!

Since, reviews are rolling again... For those who need links to all the current VEI TPB's.... Here they are:

Got mine last night as well. I'll concur with the others that the protection Elery gave them for his leg of the shipping was monumental. Very obvious that any damage to them happened before they got to him. I only see a couple dinged corners out of my 10 and I'm very happy with them all. Now to start giving some of them away to comic book fans at work...

Got my books yesterday and opened them today. I'm very happy with the way the books turned out. The damage done to the books was way less than I thought it would be.

I really want to thank Elery for taking the initiative with this segment of the project. The amount of time that had to go into packing each package had to be significant. I thank you and look forward to enjoying my books!

Time to go hand some out at the LCS!
