jkb - I think you may be the only person alive who would say Geomancer for your title. As they say, every book on that shelf is someone's favourite.

I would go with:

Harbinger by Joshua Dysart with art by Ryan Sook. That would be a pretty hard combination to beat.

Eternal Warrior by Matt Wagner and art by Steve Rude.

Since I like the current creative teams, and i don't really want to see the GK 3 added, trying to work in those self-imposed contraintes with the new VALIANT and with current creators I would love to see:

The Second Life of Dr. Mirage
w: Mark Waid
a: Nicola Scott or Carlos Pacheco
Closer in tone to Archer and Armstrong, but would benefit an ensemble supporting cast, like certain genre TV shows from the 90's and 2000's.
