Clayton Henry will be there which is awesome because his work is amazing ... but does anyone know if valiant will have a panel? or if any other Valiant artist, creator, writer going to be there?

Any valiant fans planning on going?

This will be my first time going to a con ... not sure what to expect

+1 - have fun.

Cons rock, but they're quite crazy when they are really big events in major venues.

If Valiant's gonna be there, it'll be listed on the website for the con or on Valiant's site under Events.

I might go on one of the days. My first convention too. I see Bob Layton is on the guest list from old valiant. Also Kevin Smith and George Takei will be there. I gotta figure out what to take if I go to get books signed.

:hm:

If I wanna get something signed by a celebrity like George Takei, do I need to buy a ticket? Or get in line?

Not sure what the protocol is for Star Trek actor signings for a book.

Cool ... I brought in my Rai #0 for Bob Layton to sign and my Archer and Armstrong #1 for Clayton Henry to sign

I also bought from Clayton his original art for Archer and Armstrong #2 Page # 9. The scene with naked Ivar looking all god like. :o I thought it was a cool page because it was I think the 1st page of Ivar as the timewalker.

Both Bob and Clayton were both cool guys .. Glad I was able to finally find them, conventions are tough to navigate... It's complete chaos. I'll probably post more details later and ill try to post a pic of the Henry page I bought.

I also met and had a photo shoot with George Takai ... And I was wearing my Shadowman shirt :D

Very cool...I just got back now...the place was hot as hell and barely any walking room. I took a Cheesasaurus Rex for Bob Layton to sign and that got a fun reaction. I may take one more tomorrow for the hell of it.

Also got Georges Jeanty to sign my Dogs Of War 1-6 and Tony Bedard signed my Star Seed and Powers That Be comics from Broadway.

I'd like to get a George Takai sig on some books I have....did he charge? Were his lines long?

It was such a disorganized mess especially the lines for photos and signings. The photo op with Takei was 40 bucks (pretty ridiculous but the pic came out pretty nice) ... I believe for Takei you had to pay for the signings 20-30 bucks I think. I was actually on that line by mistake for like 30 minutes before I realized I was on the wrong line. I think the photo op line was like a 40 min to an hour wait... The signings line I would imagine would be about the same wait.

It was very disorganized and the venue was too small. So George definitely charges then....agh! I'll see how it goes tomorrow. I wanted him to sign my Howard Stern book.

I took these pics:

StarSeed by Tony Bedard:

Babes Of Broadway - Dennis Callero had a pinup in there:

Dogs of War by Georges Jeanty:

The most important book of the entire Valiant universe signed by Bob Layton:

Stephane Roux signed my Star Wars Gamestop Variant:

And some George Perez books too. Still trying to recharge to go back there again. The place was too crazy and the a/c didn't seem to work.

awesome! You were well prepared and got a lot of stuff signed! :thumb:

My first time at comic con so I was a little gun shy ... and brought only 2 comics to sign.

but I'm really happy with the page and signed art book I got from Clayton Henry!

Clayton Henry page ... A&A #2, Page #9

A&A #1 signed by Henry, art book signed by Henry, Bob Layton signed Rai#0
