It's just that... well... he was so tender... like a cherry blossom floating in a warm breeze. <sniff>Shadowman99 wrote:Aw, you poor thing. Then he'd run off and cleave some giant robot in half.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I really wish these had a new story in them like the Bloodshot Hardcover. Without that it's not worth the purchase to me.

I do love the new stories that were in the original 3 HCs and Bloodshot Masters, and wish they'd continue, but I also love having the HCs on my shelf...I want them all...and the Deluxe Editions, too...

Re: Valiant Masters: Rai
It's fair enough that readers who already have the original comics aren't buying the hardcovers without extra content (such as a new story or whatever), but these books are really good introductions to the characters for new Valiant readers who haven't read the original material, so they still carry their worth
I for one am looking forward to Valiant getting around to printing a Quantum and Woody hardcover

Re: Valiant Masters: Rai
As a guy who doesn't buy trades often, and never hardcovers - I will say I am mildly tempted on this one because I still don't have #'s 2,3 & 4... but I prefer to buy originals & will track them down eventually. A new original story would have absolutely tipped the scales in favour of buying this for me personally.Shadowman99 wrote:It's fair enough that readers who already have the original comics aren't buying the hardcovers without extra content (such as a new story or whatever), but these books are really good introductions to the characters for new Valiant readers who haven't read the original material, so they still carry their worth
