Here's added info for the Bloodshot Hardcover:

1450 B.C. Pharaoh Thutmose III writes a parable of peace on a tablet.
(Conjecture: “Over 1400 years ago.”) (Bloodshot Hardcover – The Tablet)

48 B.C. December - Gilad is present at the Battle of Alexandria in Egypt. Gilad is able to preserve a tablet with the writing of Thutmose III before the library burns down.
(Bloodshot Hardcover – The Tablet)

2012 April – Malek Fullan, the leader of The Brotherhood Alliance is injured in a bombing. 65 people are killed in the blast.
(Bloodshot Hardcover – The Tablet)

Bloodshot Hardcover – “The Tablet”
October – Bloodshot and Gilad thwart a terrorist group selling illegal antiquities in Alexandria, Egypt.

From 48 B.C., wouldn't "over 1,400 years ago" mean 1449 B.C. is the most recent possible estimate?
If so, the 1445 B.C. estimate would be impossible.

And now the Rise of Lydia story in the XO Hardcover:

1199 Lydia, a Spider Alien, proves herself to the First-Among-Equals. She is selected for a mission where she is disguised as a human in order to infiltrate their society. She is given command of a space ship and heads to Earth.
(Conjecture: Date attempts to factor in time dilation during space travel, but a lot is assumed to arrive at this date.) (X-O Manowar Hardcover – The Rise of Lydia – Deceiver)

1990 July – Lydia and the Spider Alien ship she commands arrives at Earth.
(Conjecture: The caption says they’ve been on Earth for “Several Months.)(Editor’s Note: The caption says that the trip to Earth has lasted only “months”, but there is time dilation during space travel.) (X-O Manowar Hardcover – The Rise of Lydia – Deceiver)

August – Lydia begins seducing Harold Polk, the CEO and President of Orb Industries.
(Conjecture: She says she’s been doing it “for months.”) (X-O Manowar Hardcover – The Rise of Lydia – Deceiver)

1991 January 18 – Lydia, who has been attending La Bas nightclub in New Orleans, has another failure at finding “patient zero.”
(X-O Manowar Hardcover – The Rise of Lydia – Deceiver)

X-O Manowar Hardcover – “The Rise of Lydia – Deceiver”
February 1
– Lydia, with the help of other disguised Spider Aliens, kill Harold Polk and take over Orb’s Industries.
(Editor’s Note: The Newspaper says 1992, but these events take place before X-O Manowar #0. To keep the spirit of the date the event is placed just 1 year before.)

March 30 – Lydia sends Ken Clarkson, a disgruntled employee of Orb Industries, to Peru to find Aric and the missing Manowar armor.

As a consummate timeline junkie and somewhat new recruit to the Valiant army (been reading the new VEI titles as they're released for the past year, since XO #1 and right on through to Harbinger Wars #2, including all the #0 issues), just wondering if there are any plans to make a timeline for the new universe. I must admit I've been keeping my own personal timeline, though it certainly pales in comparison to this, both due to only a few dozen books in the VEI universe so far, and just splitting it up based on year, and page number.

Maybe I'll post my new VEI timeline then, so we can compare ours. The only problem is there hasn't been a whole lot of reference or anything in terms of the other titles, so it can be tough placing the individual issues in relation to each other. I looked into using the real time approach the older universe used (dating/placing themselves generally in the present time of when the issues were released), but since mostly each arc's individual issues follow one after the other in a smaller spam of time (usually only days), this forces a span of several months between each arc, which doesn't really make sense or seem to fit the storyline in each respective book. The only one so far that's given a present day date of any kind is Harbinger #0, which placed itself in August, 2012, and presumably helped place the other titles in 2012. One of the more recent issues (can't recall off the top of my head, it was either Harbinger or possibly Harbinger Wars), placed itself in January, 2013, so there is some precedent for time passing as normal. I'd assume the universe's present timeline spans May, 2012 to at least January, 2013 or possibly later.

I'll keep reading the new issues to see if there are any additional specific month/year placements to align the issues with.

Of course the flashback portions all have dates or XXXX years ago designations, which help with placement.

About 45 minutes per book, unless it was a complicated one like Rai #0 or Magnus #38. I did about 2 1/2 hours a night. And I enjoyed it, which is why I stopped doing an Acclaim one.

I have one of the same detail for most of the new books, but I'm still feeling them out in terms of distance between stories.

I was skimming through the timeline today and realized I didn't include the Captain Johner books. I've got to re-read those and see where they fit.

Well, they were published so they fit in somehow. Could be an alternate universe. They do wear similar uniforms as those who served on the Ottawa.

I am pretty sure they don't. They may run across some alien life that appears in the VH1 4001 timeline? I will have to pull out those issues and check again.

Just started collecting the 90’s Valiant titles. I picked up the first 29 Solar, and almost the entire Magnus Robot Fighter series on eBay for $200. Anyone know a resource to start getting the books chronologically?
