Since the Archers got Obie from PRS, it would make sense that he was some of the 'tech' that Redacted sent them. But first he's going to need to steal him from his biological parents, Armstrong and Mary Maria. :D

Also, Redacted is awesome. :thumb:

Great story, this title keeps getting better.
Redacted gave me a good laugh with his not that close line. :D

Had a laugh also with Aram's and Mary Maria's liaison. Both of them so full of life and on an energy high after winning a battle, and on top of that very drunk, it was bound to happen. The second Aram was sober I believe he would have regretted this and his profuse apologies were evident of this, after all he's been 'round the block a few times. I know that doesn't excuse his actions either, but I guess Obie is learning a tough life lesson, just because you love someone doesn't necessarily mean that they love you back the same way. It will be interesting to see how he deals with this pain.

I am loving how we are slowly learning more and more about Ivar, especially his throw away lines, I really hope he gets his own title soon.
What is the consensus, does Ivar have immortality?
I had surmised that the Boon had given all three brothers immortality and that the scratches on Gilad's face where from the raptor creatures he fought before he died, perhaps I shouldn't assume, we all know what that does.

I think Ivar is likely mortal. We now know Gilad is when he isn't serving the Earth, because he started to age. Armstrong appears to be the only true immortal in history until Darque and Mary-Maria happened; all the others are conditional to serving Houses and such. Though Bleeding Monk is immortal, it appears... maybe he's related? Or just body hopping. IMMORATALS MAKE CONFUSE! :o

What if you were immortal? And you lived 6000+ years? You think you would be a "perfect" "moral" person that whole time?

That's 100 lifetimes ... still in the prime of your life (physiologically) with no physical consequences when it comes to over indulging when it comes to drinking, food and sex. You have seen every friendship and lover DIE hundreds of times over...
Aram has seen morality change hundreds of times over ...depending on the culture and the time period.

I'm actually surprised he isn't more "screwed" up morally. When you live that long and seen so many atrocities and seen so many people you care about die and seen so many cultures change when it comes to "right" and "wrong"... it would be easy to subscribe to an idea of "Moral Relativism". I'm not saying that's what Aram subscribes to ... He obviously feels what he did was WRONG and obviously feels terrible about what he did. I think you need to lay off the brother a little bit ... the amount of outrage doesn't fit the crime

On the moral outrage scale this would be pretty low on the list.

Peter controlling Kris and making her kiss him and had her do who knows what else? That deserved outrage
And all the death in these comics ...cold blooded death... from Hardcorp, Bloodshot, Peter ..etc

But this is why I read Valiant comics. Its for a realistic take on a superhero universe.

I don't want to read a story of an immortal through the lens of Disney
He's like a dumbass frat boy who over stayed his welcome, I hope Erica shows up and fries his bacon once and for all! DOOSH
The same Erica who wants to play God by wiping out all reality ... and sleeps with her son? Even a Moral Relativist would say that's messed up..
Thank you.

Why is everybody so upset about Armstrong having sex with somebody who's 18 years old? She's a legal adult as far as the United States is concerned, and the age difference between them now isn't much less than the age difference will be in 70 years because Armstrong is over 6000 years old. Everybody's a child by his standards.

I'm sure because some people on here have daughters and it is probably not the age difference, but how young she is. If she was 70 she was a lot more likely to understand the choice she was making.

You can make the argument that she is NOT an 18 year old girl anymore

After the boon was set off she changed

She is more closely related to Aram than anyone else

She was reformed by the boon and the host for her parents souls and probably everyone else that died from the boon

She absorbed their life essences - and everything good and bad about them. She probably doesnt realize they are inside her but they definitely influence her behavior

I think that was one of the main points of them getting together ... They both share that bond. They probably don't realize this bond at the surface but perhaps the souls/nanites inside them compelled them to be together.

I think we get too hung up on what she looks like and her age ... But imo that 18 year old girl died when the boon was set off and was reformed as the host of a collection of many souls.

Also, has her age ever been explicitly stated? She could easily be as old as 25 for all we know.

The child could form in the image of the original incarnation of the Nanites...which might explain the similar look to Bloodshot...or evolve in the future. OR the child could simply be the 1st Rai who later is used as the source of the Blood of Heroes that is given to future Rais.
