Collection for sale!

Post by ResurrectedReader »

Hello, I would like to sell my collection as a whole. I live not to far from Tampa Fl. Most books are at the least VF, they were bought, read, bagged, boarded, and stored in comic boxes. My Name on the collection list is Resurrectedreader, and will listen to any offers. If you want specifics you can e-mail me at erusher71@yahoo.com. Thanks Eric

Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

I would really recommend you consider breaking the collection up. You will have more luck selling. There are not going to be many buyers who are willing to buy a complete collection. I would also list the grades to all the key books. There will obviously be a very large difference in price if your key books are 8.5's or 9.8's.

Good luck in your sale! :thumb:

I may end up breaking it up, I just wanted to try and keep it together after all the time spent putting it together.

Watching... ...observing... ...wondering about graded vs raw in this collection, and also about CGC SS for certain VH1 books.

Can't buys such a massive collection, but likely could pick-up several issues I've been looking for.

Right, but breaking the collection up would also bring you a significantly greater amount of cash.

You are probably right. I was just hoping to save time and workload. Do you think ebay would be the best to sell them? The reason I ask, cause I have had many emails on certain issues, but I don't want to be left with many of the "commons". Also, would selling them by titles be good.

You could list them on the boards, maybe separate the high dollar books and then break the runs down by title. I generally only buy from established boardies, that's just me, if you have someone to vouch for you it would make it even easier to sell. But if you list on ebay, you will get a much larger audience, especially when you're talking about runs on commons most of us have.

Full runs tend to do very well on eBay, and can get more than selling the "money" books from the run separately. It would be the best way to sell the commons.

I haven't looked through all of your books, but if you had a full run of Turok I'd take it. That's the only series I need to complete my VH1 collection (well and some damn graded pre-unity books, still looking for 5 more).
