Re: How Many....
I regularly read only VEI, so 8 titles/month now which will increase as the new titles come out.
I read everything else in trades and usually borrowed.
I would say on average, I read about 20 issues a month in trades as well.
Mostly image with some marvel scattered in.

Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

Re: How Many....
I don't really average how many I read... some days ill read a dozen or more comics. Some days 3-4 comics not including the new released Valiant's.
If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

Re: How Many....
Sadly pretty much 0. I've been saving up for when I have time though. I did finally read harbinger wars about a week ago. That was the first since Unity #1 and the quantum and woody tpb.
I tend to go on binges though. I'll wait til a couple new trades come out and then reread all the volumes at once. Walking Dead was my favorite and most memorable binges to date. Both omnibus were consumed in the dead of night in a dark and silent house over 2 nights each.

It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Re: How Many....
Almost all of the VEI books and lately 3-4 extra re-reads of XO and Harby from issue #1 onwards (it's amazing how much detail I'd forgotten which now enhances my enjoyment of the current issues!).
Every now and then I'lll go further back into my collection and re-read stuff from the 90's. I need to re-read Preacher again at some point!

So true. I played an MMOG once for about 9 months and half the people I met were in the service.DirtbagSailor wrote:Video games, well that's a whole different story. They pretty much ALL play games together or alone in their spare time.

I can only speak from my experience, but no. We drank a lot, chased women (generally unsuccessfully), played videogames and generally raised hell wherever we could.lorddunlow wrote:Do lots of military types read comics? Seems like they do, but it would seem that it would be a source of ridicule from the Dum Dum Dugan set. (forgive me if this is a stupid question - my extensive knowledge of anything military is from entertainment media and a memoir about the Manhattan Project written by Leslie Groves.DirtbagSailor wrote:I purchase and read 10-12 per month.
This does change from time to time (e.g. when I was deployed to Iraq a few years ago, I read more than 3,500 pages of Marvel/Image/Devil's Due G.I. Joe comics in my down time).

I read between 100-110 titles a month. Valiant is always at the top!

Re: How Many....
I reckon on average about 9 or 10 a week, at night after everything is settled for the day, then a read of whatever novel I have going just before bed.
Bernard Cornwell's Saxon tales books have me on the go at the moment so my comic reading is stacking up.
