i sent my mom to toronto to go look for comics for me an she got me 4 golds
and 6 v.v.s.s.! the gold were a buck and the V.V.S.S. were $3!!!!
but i have to wait till she gets home to see what they are (she's not that bright) :lol:

she got them at a comic book store called the silver snail if you guys are ever down there, there is alot of valiant stuff she said.

Silver Snail! Been around for almost 30 years, used to carry a TON of Cerebus (natch, it's Dave's home, Ontario)....wow...nice to know they're still around. :)

yes i have sent my mom on the great canadian comic hunt for me.
i told her if she dident go i would beat her up! :shock: i could too she is a rather small lady.

off topic, but i love toronto. i actually got kicked out of the country last time i was there, so i think i one up ya on that.

good find, deathmedal - that's just crazy. altho, your mom seems pretty bright if she's finding vvss's and gold's for you. maybe it's just the old fart in me, but i know if my mom was nice enough to go find comics for me and actually get good stuff, i'd think/know she was brilliant. give her the props she deserves.
