Hey all, Valiant was an exhibitor here last year, and they are doing it again. They're the only comic book publisher that's there, maybe some tiny small press. But, lots of other book vendors, and performances, food, etc.

Went with my kid last year, and we had a great family day. Much to do. Maybe see some WCVC out and about?

Was there last year. The weather this year looks a bit nicer if anyone is going.

yeah, I just got back from it. nothing too juicy to report, James Asmus and Dino joked about doing a "Crisis on Infinite Woodies" story after the Delinquents and Q2, which would be a crossover between the Acclaim Q&W and the VEI Q&W.

I was there today, it was great to catch up with Dino and Atom!, and talk to James Asmus for a bit.

James signed a copy of Q&W that we'll be giving away on OTV, and of course there's more to it than just the signed book. I asked him to do something fun with it.

The booth was busy, a lot of folks were coming by, and Valiant was moving a lot of trades.

Overall, the show was really cool. It was huge, much bigger than I expected, though I had no idea what to expect.

I'm pretty sure I was there while you were there. If I had known you were a board member, I would have said "hi"! I was back behind the table chatting with Dino. I was the big dude wearing the Cal hat.

I'd like to think the Crisis on Infinte Woodies was less "joke" and more "brilliant idea". I don't think that is the case though.

With James you can never tell! Look what happened at the Quatman Wooding signing when Ed suggested what eventually became the delinquents. Valiant will always listen to its fans so if enough people think this is a good idea it could gain some real traction. Especially because that book is such a satire.

aw, wish we would've connected, I was hoping to be able to hang out with some other board members there. there seem to be enough board members in LA that we could have a Valiant book club.
