Welcome to the boards!

I'm sure I speak for many when I ask...

What condition are the Harbinger 1 through 6
and do they still contain the coupons?

Thanks,

Greg

Hey, thanks for the nice welcome. It's great to see a site dedicated to Valiant's heyday.

Anyways, the Harbinger coupons are cut, but carefully cut-out and I can even include a photocopy of the coupons too. Once, I find it that is. =)

Most if not all of my comics are Near Mint too. I bought them right when they came out, read 'em once or twice and took good care of 'em.

I state VF/NM in my auctions, b/c I know everyone's got their own way of grading minor things, but they're in great condition.

A lot of people have been e-mailing me w/ questions about their condition and they're just as good as you'd find at your LCS, if not better.

Plus, I package my comics, so they get there undamaged, regardless of how much the postal service may mis-handle them. I think it's such a cop-out to always blame them.

Oh, and I only wish I didn't put a "Buy-It-Now" on a few of my earlier auctions, seeing how quickly they got snapped up. Magnus, Rai and Solar sold almost as soon as I posted them.

Btw, I do still have the Harbinger #0, but I plan to get it graded. I still remember getting that sucker in the mail too.

It was like finding Willy Wonka's golden ticket. =)

Took a closer look at the X-O Manowar comics, so here's a more detailed run-down:

#1 - VF/NM: Three spine stresses along the lower back cover.

#2 - VF/NM: 1/2" indention going vertically down left back cover and through most of the book. Imagine the comic being pressed down on a needle or something like that to create this defect. Possibly a printing error?

#3 - VF/NM: Very minor 1/4" indent on the bottom left back corner.

#4 - VF/NM: A couple very minor spine stresses.

#5 - NM.

#6 - F: One major spine stress, 1/4" indent going through book w/ corresponding crease on back cover. Plus, another 1/4" indent going through half the book coming from the back cover.
