Phoenix comic con 2015
Long time no post.
On holiday.
Using a mobile phone to access internet.
Have a few questions about the Phoinex comic con next year.
A close friend in Australia (where I am now ) , and he will b e staying with me for a month next year on his world tour.
Before he hits the UK. He is in the USA for a month.
He desperately wants to visit a comic convention, and he choice was this con.
Is here on the boards going?
When I originally met him, 20 years ago, when I worked in a comic shop. He has a huge passion for independant comics and cosplay.
Not sucking up. But knowing how cool and friendly valiant guys are, any of you going? Someone to chat and laugh with?
Tony is a great guy , and writes a lot if independent comics and collaborations from around the world.

I wonder what it would be like to be a lonely, muck-encrusted monster? Probably be an improvement.

The wife and I had considered going to Phoenix 2015. Too far off to make certain plans, though.

Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
Don, t really notice which conventions valiant attend.
This is due to the fact I am not in the USA.
Is it common for valiant to attend the Phoinex convention?

Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
A bit OT, but it would be cool if we tried to do a Valiant Fans gathering each year at a con, rotating locations so we all get to go somewhere new. I haven't done that much traveling for cons outside of the northeast, but would be up for it if a decent number of people were interested in it.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I don't think badges are hard to get, just get them early.
And yes big fun.

Badges have not been hard to come by in the past, but attendance nearly doubled this year, so it'll be interesting to see in the future.THEWGZK wrote:I think I am going to have to go in 2015 it seems pretty big and fun, 4 days if I read correctly. are badges as hard to get as comic-con or wondercon?

One indication of this shows growth is the massive dealer wait list.rkjock1 wrote:Badges have not been hard to come by in the past, but attendance nearly doubled this year, so it'll be interesting to see in the future.THEWGZK wrote:I think I am going to have to go in 2015 it seems pretty big and fun, 4 days if I read correctly. are badges as hard to get as comic-con or wondercon?
They expected almost 90% of the vendors to pay on Sunday for next year's show.
You know I did!
This is a great great show.

Do the Southerners have to come up with our own cool get together? Re: Phoenix comic con 2015
Hey, I'm talking about rotating locations, so the south could definitely be on the list. This could also be a decent way for people to see parts of the country they don't normally visit. What do you say? Should we make Phoenix 2015 the first ValiantFans convention?RogueJedi74 wrote:Do the Southerners have to come up with our own cool get together?
