This one is newly graded with an opening bid of 299.99. I have a feeling it's going to sell.

Is that a low total considering it's only been live for 2 days?

Book just keeps becoming cheaper to acquire.

I almost spent $485 two years ago for 9.8

I might be interested in the opening bid price, but the seller doesn't ship to Canada...I'm sure someone will at least put in an opening bid.

I bought it. I couldn't pass it up for that price. I wasn't worried too much about the small cracks. The seller looks reputable.

This has to be one of the cheapest eBay prices for a 9.8.

Seems that $350-$400 is the "acceptable" price range at the moment.

Tracking the following:

UNPRESSED - $1,499 BIN / OBO
"The "INFAMOUS" apacseller's UNPRESSED issue, that we have tracked for YEARS! The idea is to convince buyers that this issue is worth more than ALL OTHER raw copies because it has the potential to be "PRESSED" into a condition above 9.8 possibly, which as we know would make it a 9.9-10 and therefore the GREATEST VALIANT BOOK EVER! However, pretty much ANY 9.8 could also be cracked-out, "PRESSED" and then re-graded to the same effect. One must wonder why apacseller has not simply had the book PRESSED and then submit to CGC himself. Seems like they would make a LOT of money on such a simple process if they are right in their assessment and also marketing strategy."

Funny little story, had some comics up for sale at the CGC boards, I guess I had some Harby's pictured, I get a PM about my Harbys from a boardie named "Dinesh".... :o

I ask him if it's him, he says yes, I congratulate him on his deal, and tell him that him asking about my Harby's is gonna make me want to keep them, he says "you should keep them" and gives me a :D

Dinesh is a weird guy. You'd THINK that being able to print one-of-a-kind OFFICIAL Valiant books and say "nanny nanny boo boo" would be enough... but NOOOOOO... he'd rather have the same old out of print rags that us common folk like. :?
