And interesting that the prize ships next week. I did not expect the mystery book to already be in existence!

Just moved in a few weeks ago, so we haven't got everything the way we want it yet fully.
But for now, our Valiant-Themed Room (e.g. hallway in this case...) contains a worthwhile display of both old and new Valiant Art, as well as a solid 9.8 collection (waiting on Slab-Frames; will get there soon enough...

It's like some sort of magical Valiant gallery. If this was my house, the hallway might be my favourite room.

Is their a thread where we speculate what the mystery book is?
I think I have the answer.

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

After my son got to beat up Dad in the epic Ninjak Vs Harada, he wanted to try another, so here's our take on Ninjak #1:

Did another one ~ thought it would be cool to have my wife in the same image.
Enlarged the breasts slightly, not like rob liefields, just subtlety.
Like when a women is actually dressed in medieval armour ~ rather than a second skin or a madonna video.
Sounds rude, but I did spend a lot of time manipulating the breasts and attempting to recolour them. I think its a fail, but when the image is small, it looks OK. Should of gone with more obvious enlargement.
My wife actually really hates it ~ so if it really is a fail, pm me and I will remove. Maybe I thinks its OK, just because I did it knowwhatimean.

I have updated my post on page three with several photos, including my birthday party!
Also want to share two failures. I thought I had a neat idea for a cover recreation. Our cat Rocky does look a bit like the cover of Imperium, but he was not at all cooperative. This was the closest we got before we realized it was best for everyone's health to abandon the idea:

And finding the word "Valiant" in a fortune cookie was also too difficult. Here's today's attempts...

I ate a ton of those fortune cookies aswell.
Kids lunch boxes filled with broken Chinese cookies.
Never found a 'valiant' word in any of them.
Different distributor? Must be a USA thing.
In Europe they are worded differently.
It did make me think, valiant had branched out in alternate markets.
Never new the word 'valiant; was customary in USA Chinese fortunes.

What we did was make our own message and put them in a opened fortune cookie.

If you meant it had to be a legal one, this is not (proper plate underneath) so no points, but fun either way
And yes, that is from today, Canada's ocean playground will be closed until Spring!
