Comic-Centric shows
So, which shows, anywhere in the country have maintained a COMIC centric show? As opposed to a pop-culture type show.
Such as, Heroe's Con, Special Edition NY.
Are there any other comic-centric shows anyone can recommend? Anywhere in the country. Thanks!

Re: Comic-Centric shows
Not necessarily. Like Special Edition NYC, or HeroesCon. Where the focus is on comics. Not "pop culture".

Yeah, figuring out the best shows to exhibit at and advertise on. If love to capture that true comic market, as opposed to trying to convert pop culture people into comic people. At first at least.Elveen wrote:Is it for your biz or just to go??

Re: Comic-Centric shows
Honestly I would go to the biggest shows.
There are tons of comic fans at wizard shows, and wizard shows are for sure pop culture.
You have to figure most people at a show have at least an interest.
And your product makes it so easy.
The late year Salt Lake City show apparently had like 130,000 peeps.
THe phoenix show in May is a must do. Big big crowds.
But really every show has comic fans. And like I said your product makes it so easy.

Also.
Nor Cal loves comics.
You should do every Nor Cal show you can.
You would do great in Stockton. Lots of people.
Also wizard Sac was massive last year. Ask Sean, the walk ways were SDCC level packed.
Honest.

Re: Comic-Centric shows
Salt Lake's fall show has more comic creators than their FanX show, but not a lot of comic vendors. I hope this years show will be better.Elveen wrote:Honestly I would go to the biggest shows.
