Valiant Development Series 1: Documentation

Everyone has said many great things and given reasons for their view points. Whether or not forum members sent any emails to Gemstone Publishing is another story. Just reading the responses on this forum, I highly doubt that many people sent an email to Gemstone Publishing.
However, I love the fact that I got everyone talking. It is exciting to see the passion valiant fans have. Go back and take a look at all the responses. Wow, where have you all been? When I first came across this website years ago that was the first thing I noticed. The fire and passion the valiant fans had. AND THAT IS THE REASON I BECAME A VALIANT FAN AND COLLECTOR!!
If I have gotten you talking about what is truly important to you as a valiant fan, then Valiant Development Series 1 has done its job.

Well, it's not like VALIANT is unknown in the comic industry. In fact, as stated before, VALIANT is often the subject of bad memories for many in the indusrty - dealers, speculators, whatever. With this in mind, I think that the best way for the books to be "rediscovered" by the industry is to let it happen naturally. If a small group of fans try to force the books down people's throats, how is that any different from trying to artificialy create another run of speculation? That would just do more damage to the VALIANT reputation.mnc93 wrote:
It is strange but for so many years older valiant fans (veterans) have been fighting for valiant comics to be recognized by the comic industry and now I try to help and I am getting shot down. Hey, I was just trying to help not insult anyone.
I think that the market reports by Greg and this website are enough to keep the books being talked about by the current VALIANT fans and allow others to rediscover the books if they would like to.

Lurkers are like voyeurs at an orgy...most of them would be more than welcome to join in, if they'd just speak up and offer something.cinlach@aol.com wrote:lurkers have feelings too...they just don't share them.
yes, i'm a laugh riot!
But, they don't, and so they sit, fully clothed, in the corner, just watching and being creepy.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
