Some of the later stories went away from the core concepts (sound familiar?), but it is a universe I was more fully immersed in than any other.
I am just getting into VALIANT -but then that isn't on the list!

I enjoyed Comics Greatest World and Ultraverse, but both suffred variable quality. No !mpact Comics on the voting list. Oh, shame on you! Now there is another universe I miss.

Valiant has new owners. It might make a comeback. I think thats why it wasent on the list.

For me, it came down to the 2 I've read... Defiant or Ultraverse. I enjoyed both a lot, but Defiant edged out my vote.

The early Ultraverse was good. And it started out OK when marvel bought them and they it kind of went down hill. But I still like to read them.

I regard Ultraverse as one of my guilty pleasures. I even bought Witch Hunter in my ongoing completist quest. Sad but true.

Defiant's my first choice. Ultraverse definitely would be my second wish list choice.

I think we all know VALIANT will be a given in this situation, Todd created this for all the other DU's out there.

-slym (voted Milestone, 'cos it had a few interesting titles)

Agree on interesting titles (Xombi, Icon - for the premise - and Shadow Cabinet especially). I feel the colours seemed more 'real' than the big 2 or Image as well. I miss Milestone, and hope thta along with VALIANT it makes a return in a recognisable form.

i liked broadway's characters better than defiant's but if defiant had made it to schism, i'm guessing my mind woulda been changed.
