I went with Defiant although I would only want it back with Shooter pulling the strings.

I'd also like to see the Ultraverse return in some form.

I voted Defiant. Too bad Shooter's DARING COMICS never got off the ground. From what I've read, it had alot of interesting potential.---Steve

Dark Dominion was the only Defiant book that I really liked. It had near endless possibilities.

Broadway was all good. The concepts for each title, while probably not unique, were well thought out and well executed. At least for the short time they were around.

where's VALIANT? They're still dead, too as far as I know... :?

Seriously, Defiant would be my choice out of those listed. The Schism crossover was going to be an awesome story along the line of Unity, IMO.

I miss Defiant's Dark Dominion, Broadway's Fatale & Prime ( in my opinion the coolest Ultraverse character) So I wish 3 companies were back. I enjoyed a few books from the other companies but those titles were amoung my favorites.

Some of those early Prime comics were great reads, very interesting and an almost unseemly take on an old concept. Just don't read the later issues. I read those recently and was astounded by how bad they were; worse by far than anything VH1 or VH2.

I voted for Defiant by a hair. It's the one with the most original concepts (Dark Dominion, Plasm, etc) and it got developed pretty well.

Broadway and Milestone would come in as a very close second in my book. Very high quality stuff :thumb: .

Genesis (or atleast The Protectors) and Impact (which I forgot to put in  ) would tie for third.

I'ld buy any of those if they came out agian.

Going with Broadway. I loved the concepts of Defiant, but Broadway just seemed a little tighter and more fun to me. I loved the little touches like newspaper clippings at the end.

I really liked Broadway as well. Knights on Broadway and Fatale were good reads. I wish Jim could've had the opportunity to have made more issues. I was just starting to get the feel of the characters when the plug was pulled.

Same here. It was a hard choice between Broadway and Defiant.

Defiant, because Schism was going to be one of the coolest things ever. But I really enjoyed Star Seed, also.

Darkhorse's "Comics Greatest World" - definitely, for me!

"X" and "Out Of The Vortex" and ...heck "c'mon! "Ghost"!

There were some really polished books!

I went with Future Comics because it was pretty much the only one of the choices that I followed regularly. Had Valiant, CrossGen or even Devil's Due's Aftermath line been up there I probably would have gone with one of those. Possibly even Kandora.

I almost said Milestone based on what McDuffie has done since then, but because I never actually read any of Milestone's books (yet), I decided against it.

Dark Horses's World's Greatest Comics was close too.

Eclipse or First would have been other choices.

1) VALIANT
2) Defiant
3) Broadway
In that order...

The ultimate would be a combination of the three :thumb:

I voted Milestone (just 3 issues short of the full run!).

Some of the later stories went away from the core concepts (sound familiar?), but it is a universe I was more fully immersed in than any other.
I am just getting into Valiant -but then that isn't on the list!

I enjoyed Comics Greatest World and Ultraverse, but both suffred variable quality. No !mpact Comics on the voting list. Oh, shame on you! Now there is another universe I miss.
