It is little more than an "in-house" company coloring book made for the Broadway employees and associates. I have a desire to own one, but at my price, which isn't much. I've heard of an unopened case of 90, which I'm sure would MORE than satisfy demand, but whether it ever 'comes out' for sale or not is still a guarded mystery. Until then, I doubt I'd pay more than $50-$100 for a NM copy. Zip.---Steve

Haven't read it. I should, but I haven't yet.jk20000 wrote:and is it a good read?
It's a comic property that was distributed to non-comic book people.
The guy I received my copies from witnessed a case (~100) being thrown in a dumpster by Broadway Entertainment folks. This was years after they were created. He also knew that many had been thrown away by those that they were given to.
If there really were only 1150 created then there may be about half left in existence in various conditions. It's also unlikely that many will surface because they are in the hands of people that don't know what they are and will never bother to find out. Many will eventually just be thrown away.
Sad. Just sad.

When compared to other comics of GREAT value that were lost during the paper drives of the early 40's or the comic boycotts of the mid-50's, Miracle is no great loss...only to a very small handful of Broadway diehards I am on the fringe of. I assume I'll get a copy one day on my terms, but if not, oh well....at least I still have my cool Broadway Fatale' bomber jacket...Try finding a case of those...Technique wrote:Haven't read it. Broadway Comics was the company Jim Shooter founded after Defiant shut down. Miracle on Broadway was a special issue that was handed out to employees of Broadway Video as a sort of Christmas present (IIRC). Because it contained pages that were a coloring book, it's also extremely rare and easily the most expensive book out of the Broadway line.

That's why it hasn't sold. Chuck at Mile High has had that comic for years, I think the cheapest he ever had it listed for was $1,200. He lists it on eBay frequently, too.fatback wrote:Yeah but c'mon $3000 for a comic that is maybe 10 years old thats just crazy .![]()

True value of the book to those who really want one is probably somewhere between $100-$200.
