My San Diego Comic Con Experience...
Sucked!
I was scheduled to fly out Tuesday night from Detroit to SD but a couple nasty storms pounded west Michigan, especially my area. Power went out Monday night and I did not get it back until late Thursday. Had 2 large trees and numerous limbs come down all over my driveway. I spent all of last week clearing/cutting everything up and keeping my generator going. Had to cancel my flight and hotel stay. At least I got a credit (less fees of course
) for my airfare so can use it towards next year but the hotel charged me one nights stay
for cancelling.
Oh well, guess there is always next year.

Well, I hope the worst of it is over for you, RH - if I make it to SD next year, I will make sure to buy you a drink and maybe you can look back at this and smile instead.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Dude that sucks. I agree with woogie; friggin hotelmrwoogieman wrote:Like that hotel didn't re-rent the room anyway. Man that chaps my hide! I would put a stop payment in with your credit card company on that charge, no way would I let that one go until they could prove that my room remained empty that night.
*SKREE*!
