I am needing a set of these myself and RUE the day when someone offered them to me for less than $20 each. My cash was spent elsewhere at the time but on the other hand MAN these are some expensive TPBs and couple that with the fact that I think it is the $hittiest Valiant cover ever drawn, well is it going to be hard to justify paying decent fundage for either of these.betterthanezra wrote:Tell you what I'm glad I have these both......

I would say that these are rare right up there with the Continuity Cyberad Diamond TPB that I am needing.

You know what? It kills me to tell people I got both of these for FREE.....I've had them for 10 years but my comic shop I was buying at gave them to me....of course I didn't know at the time how RARE they really were...Knightt wrote:I am needing a set of these myself and RUE the day when someone offered them to me for less than $20 each. Well that has to tell you something... FREE. I dont see why we as a group pay decent money for these books anyways. Officially it is still a DEAD UNIVERSE.betterthanezra wrote:You know what? I'm already watching themnapalm wrote:Just in case anyone is looking for these:

I won both of these books together as a lot on eBay last year, and I think that I paid $150 for the lot. When they arrived, they were as close to immaculate as you can imagine. One of them has a slight indentation on the back cover about 1/8 of an inch long which you can only see when you hold it up to the light at a certain angle, but other than that, it's perfect. The other volume is perfect. If CGC graded these things and didn't give them both 9.9, I'd travel down to Florida and smack them silly myself.
That's my long-winded way of saying that if you can buy these together as a lot, then do it. Buying them one at a time only causes long-term trouble.

Wow, 9.9 eh? That will surely help the final price out. Most I've seen have some sort minor wear on them that TPB's are notorious for.VHMMV wrote:I won both of these books together as a lot on eBay last year, and I think that I paid $150 for the lot. Why don't we pre-auction here and the people with the lower bids won't set snipe prices? This way we don't run up auctions on each other?IMJ wrote:People: Don't outbid me on these so I can finally get my hands on the damn books and scrub 'em off my list!!
Let me know if your max is over $90 and I won't bid.
