Huge Thanks to ckb!

Post by GJB »

I just had to put it out there that ckb did me seriously right with our first deal.

Not only did he sell me one hell of a nice book, my first cgc, but he also threw in a few additional items for no reason other than to be generous and in the spirit of VALIANT, make collecting fun. They are greatly appreciated.

A big Thank You to you my friend. :thumb:

Chris is QUITE the stand-up guy - a real mensch, if you ask me.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

All this talk of 'snipping' is making me keep my legs crossed.

Yes, I do - some of the people selling on eBay, I've called much worse things, and I definitely think some of them aren't human.

After that, I have NO idea what you said...

-slym (used mensch in the Yiddish sense, essentially meaning "a good person.")

I've been trying for the life of me to remember which movie that came from! Now i remember! Thanks Elveen.

Slym- all i know is that 'Mensch' is also german for person.
the other part is just me being silly -"I thought that also"

Whenever i hear the term 'Yiddish' i always think of Barbra Streisand for some reason. :? maybe it's because she was in that Yentil whatever movie?
