Huge Thanks to ckb!
I just had to put it out there that ckb did me seriously right with our first deal.
Not only did he sell me one hell of a nice book, my first cgc, but he also threw in a few additional items for no reason other than to be generous and in the spirit of VALIANT, make collecting fun. They are greatly appreciated.
A big Thank You to you my friend.

Yes, I do - some of the people selling on eBay, I've called much worse things, and I definitely think some of them aren't human.Rufusharley wrote:So you think he's a real person then huh?slym2none wrote:Chris is QUITE the stand-up guy - a real mensch, if you ask me.

After that, I have NO idea what you said...
-slym (used mensch in the Yiddish sense, essentially meaning "a good person.")
Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I've been trying for the life of me to remember which movie that came from! Now i remember! Thanks Elveen.
Slym- all i know is that 'Mensch' is also german for person.
the other part is just me being silly -"I thought that also"
Whenever i hear the term 'Yiddish' i always think of Barbra Streisand for some reason.
maybe it's because she was in that Yentil whatever movie?
