How many new members have visited the boards and asked for a Harbinger 0 Pink Lately?

<<<not a new member but needed one to fill out this collection, but CKB took care of that! And if they are going to be that price, I will wait until that is one of the last ones I need to finish my next collection!

yeah, but notice the second highest bidder (at $125) has a 93 rating....not a newbie...magnus20009 wrote:Anyone notice that the guy who won it only has like a +3 rating. Could be a joy bidder.
and don't forget the 3rd highest ($99.90) by "desert-comics" with a 653 rating.
$100 is a pretty steep dollar amount to pay for this book......glad i lucked out and found one for $3 about a month ago. (and i haggled w/the guy to get it down to that, for shame!!)

Has my $550 CGC 9.8 H0pink sale made the trade magazines yet? That could explain it.

It's very interesting since Overstreet and Wizard just listed both books
in the $20 to $30 range. Why would it be $125+ all-of-the-sudden?
LMAO! You land that Bloodshot 0 Platinum from Eskrine, and I'll think about it! If that sounds fair to you. (just kidding)ckb wrote:Hey, Arch, can I have that copy back for $50?

Excellent point, CKB! Your $550 sale for CGC 9.8 Harbinger 0 Pinkckb wrote:Has my $550 CGC 9.8 H0pink sale made the trade magazines yet? That could explain it.

is the ONLY Valiant sale mentioned by Josh Nathanson in his
market report for Overstreet Comic Price Review #9.
Even though you sold all those books, Josh didn't mention them...
(which is surprising since the CGC 9.8 Unity 0 Red sold for $650.)
That could be the answer... people reading OCPR might have been surprised...
and the CGC 9.8s for H0Pink on Ebay haven't been under $200 since...
I don't think Harbinger #0 Pink will SUSTAIN prices above $100, though...
when they've averaged $45 for multiple sales, it would be hard to sustain $60.

Comiclink.com is a "third party" who handles the sales.Shakespeare wrote:I'm curious about the site where it sold for $550. How does it work?
The books are listed on ComicLink...
When there is a buyer, who has PAID their money to ComicLink,
the seller sends the books to ComicLink and they mail them to the buyer.
CKB waited until he had received the payment for the books
before he mailed them to ComicLink.
(ComicLink makes a percentage, of course.)

I've never used ComicLink personally... it looks like they get 10% of the sale price.
Here are a lot of answers on their site...

Actually, you ship the books to Josh blindly - with nothing but ultimate trust for him and his integrity.
Then you get a check a month or so later. It was a scary month for me, but $2k in sales is pocket change for the money spent on that site.
