Lydia the Spider Alien

In X-O Manowar #2 Lydia had the body of a Spider Alien and the head and hands of a woman, but then in Shadowman #1 she looked completely human.

She tried to seduce a dude, failed, and felt like she wasn't pretty enough, so went back and got more cosmetic surgery.

Chicks do this a lot, especially in Southern California.

I have nothing against women putting in work to make themselves prettier. I do not discriminate much whether a woman uses whole grains and pilates or silicone. Results are more important to me than process in this case.

I thought that some where it was implied that certain spider aliens were "Changed" on purpose. I always assumed some sort of alien operation. Maybe cross-bred?

I am sure the aliens had some sort of advanced technology that they had develpoed to use on humans.... look at Rexo.

Sure, Lydia herself mentions it.

But check out what she says exactly

Lydia was comforble with her Spider Alien body, human head, human hands, and human legs... but then she became even more human.

In Shadowman #1 she takes her clothes off and even while covered by shadows you can tell that she had breasts, which she didn't in X-O Manowar.

Just checked. Wow, I'd forgotten that she was there. Awesome scene.

She has a straight jacket, so you can't tell if she has breasts or not (only time we see her chest she's nothing but skin and bones

)

Though that she has bones at all is indicative of how far along her transformation into a human was. Spiders doesn't have bones.
