A Special Gift: X-O #69 Cover/Magnus #0 Tribute Original Art

Post by Byrneout »

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I received a great surprise to help the Special Gift Comic & Toy Drive reach its 2007 goal.

Drawn by Stu and inked by Chris, we have a "cover" for X-O Manowar #69, drawn in an homage to the cover of Magnus #0. This is *quickly* becoming one of my favorite images, and I'm certain it will be one of yours, too. It's 11 X 17, and is presented to you on thinker UltraPro board, one of the highest quality available.

Want to see it? Of course you do. Well, here you go:

But wait - that's not all! Chris is including an awesome Harbinger 2 cover recreation on a Blue Line Pro sketch card (2 1/2x 3 1/2)!

This is up for auction right here on the boards. Auction begins NOW, and will end on Friday, November 30th at Midnight EST, 9:00 PM PST.

Every cent raised with this auction goes towards the purchase and donation of new comics and toys for the Special Gift Toy Drive, which benefits the Shriner's Burns Institute. So not only are you getting an incredible piece of artwork, you're donating to a great cause!

This is awesome. to Stu and Chris

I should have saved the $150 I already donated so I could put a killer bid on it :insane:

This is one of the only things I've ever drawn that I was happy with the pencils, and Chris did his usual stunner of a job bringing depth and detail out.

Can I bid too? :D

Since I will be shipping the art out, I decided to add something.
Harbinger 2 cover recreation on a Blue Line Pro sketch card (2 1/2x 3 1/2).
