What Didn't you collect?
if asked before i'm sorry....
What Valiant comics didn't you buy back in the day?
i'm ashamed to say i never got any Magnus, Rai or Shadowman, i'm afraid the future stuff didn't appeal to me and i just never could get into Shadowman.
(although i would buy all three if they came out in HC)[/i]

you had to pay for those?? My LCS at the time gave them away just like CSN (comic shop news)iggy101us wrote:I didn't buy Valiant Voices![]()
I thought "why would I want to pay $0.25 for dumb articles and ads?". Of course, the completist in me bought them at $5-$15 a piece . . . . still can't find #19.![]()

I collected everything during Unity, and for the month or two after, except for Magnus.
I stopped Archer & Armstrong and Eternal Warrior with issue 7, X-O Manowar with 11 or 12, Harbinger around 13, and Solar around 20. I picked up the first issue or two of Bloodshot and H.A.R.D.Corps, and then my adolescent Valiant days were done.
I went through a "super hero comics are lame" phase around the time I stopped buying Valiants.

I didn't get Valiant Voices or Turok. Collected everything else though.

I only collected BloodShot and grabbed a few other titles just to check em out. I didnt really get into all the classic pre-unity until recently. I think the BloodShot run still stands the strongest. X-O was really good up till the 30's. That Original Pre-Unity Cannon is undeniably Classic tho, kicking Shooter out of his own Universe was just foolish

I came in right before Unity, and bought EVERYTHING for a while afterward. Then, as has been mentioned before my me and many others, after titles like Secret Weapons were released, I noticed a severe drop in quality across all the titles. So, I saw that Chaos Effect was coming up, I picked that as my jumping off point, and never looked back.
Now, however... I wish I had never sold my collection to board member Manowar Class - all my issues were GORGEOUS, 9.6 or better I'd bet. (That's 'cos I worked at my LCS t the time and would cherry-pick the stacks as the Diamond box was opened.)

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

And not ashamed of it! If it's true about the books I'm selling, I even list that in my eBay auctions!xodacia81 wrote:So, you're THAT GUY, eh?slym2none wrote:I came in right before Unity, and bought EVERYTHING for a while afterward.
