That's one of the reasons why I quit playing the game.

It didn't seem to matter which kart or bike or how many sliding boosts I would use, most of the other players were just walking away from me like I was standing still.

They're are also some glitches in the game that some can use as "shortcuts" to trim off a lot of time.

The Mario Kart games have always had REAL shortcuts. Take Mario Kart 64, as an example. In "Wario Stadium" there is a point, just after the start line, where you can bounce over the lefthand wall. I think it's best done on the 3rd mound right after the start. It cuts off a good half of the track. You can make incredible times with some of the "cuts" in the series.

Yeah, I know about the real shortcuts, but the ones I'm referring to are not the ones the programmers intended.

I know, and I'm stating that both, along with other "easements", are leading to RIDICULOUS times for some people. :thumb:

I also can't stand it when you start racing a group of people and they keep voting for the same course over and over.

All Rainbow roads in Mario Kart have been "evil" tracks.

Ever since the SNES (was it famicon or something in US?) I've dreaded rainbow road. Evil races!

I'd be up for a Valiant Kart tournament!
