I think $25 is expensive for Priority, considering the $13 Flat-Rate box...maraxusofkeld wrote:Nice lot, but $25 is a bit steep for media mail. You could ship an entire long box of comics media mail for less than that...
If I were "in the market," I would pass on this lot sheerly because of the shipping charges.

You can ship 59 lbs. for $25 media mail.djwatson23 wrote:so would 22 dollars be more of a reasonable price?
please tell me
For $22 you can ship 46 lbs.
so, my opinion, $22 is not reasonable.
Check out this link to see media mail prices.

I'd go $13 for a Flat-Rate Priority Box (the USPS will deliver them to your door, order them for free off of the web site) or more likely $6-7 for Media Mail.slym2none wrote:I think $25 is expensive for Priority, considering the $13 Flat-Rate box...

IMO, I don't think this is too big a deal because people would either just pass up on the auction or low ball their bids to factor in the shipping price. So if I see these books to say worth $70 for example, I would just bid my highest amount of $45 to factor the $25 shipping. If the seller posts shipping to be $7, my high bid would be $63. At the end, it comes out to be the same.

I think knowing the correct amount for shipping or taking the time to get it right makes me look more.
If someone is either trying to make a good hit out of postage or stating that its to either cover paypal, listing fees or becasue the start price is way low, then chances are that person is a bit muddled and i would prefer not to do business with them plain and simple.
This is not to say this dude is doing any of the above on purpose and apologies for the thread going off on a tangent, it happens

i tried to revise the listing however since there is a bid, i cannot. if anyone from this board wins this auction, i will charge the amount given on the usps site for media mail at 22lbs.slym2none wrote:It's all about the principle, man.Escaflown4 wrote:IMO, I don't think this is too big a deal because people would either just pass up on the auction or low ball their bids to factor in the shipping price.
