Birth of Defiant with gloves...

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

There's a "buy it now" for the Birth of the Defiant Universe comic with gloves & letter but the gloves in the pic look a little dirty:

I guess it depends on how bad you want something.

I payed $707 for an orginal Japanese Transformer toy God Ginrai 100% complete mint in the box. I had I read rumors that the same toy was going to be reissue and I could pick it up for about $100, (I've even seen the same reissues go as low now for $60) hell it was even released here in the states as Powermaster Opitmus Prime with Apex Armor.

There should always be gloves in use during a birth.

Photography gloves! Ah-Ha!!!! Mystery solved! lol.... (I had always wondered where they got the white gloves from...) :o

Thanks for posting pics. :thumb:

Has there been a list on the boards before on who has what number for the "Birth" issue?

Those gloves are a good idea for handling other rare comics and not get fingerprints on them...

No, there has never been such a list put together. I know the two that I have and then issue #1 went to Jim Shooter's mother, but I believe that she passed not too long ago so I would assume that is back in Jim's hands (IF my information is correct... )

I paid $90 us for birth with letter and gloves.

That was only because, at the time the Pound was mega strong against the dollar.

Considering 9.8 Births have gone for less and I think a 9.9? from chainaball for the same price as $180
