One of the magical VALIANT moments for me happened in X-O Manowar #2. Aric goes to sleep while the X-O armor is floating in the air on its back..Anyone have any others? (A lot of this stuff I haven't even read yet.)

Mine was the end of Alpha Omega, which I read prior to Solar 1 -10.
I remeber thinking how the heck to they get out of this one, the universe is destroyed.

One that stands out for me was the way they portrayed Japan.
I was very disappointed when the Dragon fell to the Earth. It took a lot of the magic away.

I loved the 2 panel splash where Grandmother fires the plasma cannon. Sweet
Also, X-O 9 ( I think) X-O Barbarian is a great read. And the first page splash in XO 10 where Aric has been buried for thousands of years...... cool.
When Darque cuts Buck McHenery's forehead and Geoff's head bleeds...... evil. (EW #6 I think)
That is just a few. Many, many magical moments in early Valiant.

When Ishmael impaled Shadowman with a pipe through his heart and he went to Marcia's house, pipe still in him, and collapsed on her floor.
Learning that Magnus was Kris's son.

Magnus realizing that he can identify free-wills (issue 2, pg 16). The whole weight of his responsability is concentrated into one moment.

I thought when Seleski went through the longbox and pulled out the issue of Doctor Solar was very cool. Those panels helped frame how I viewed Valiant—it was going to be more than just a comic.

Yeah, it's just too bad that what came after would not live up to that standard.

When Solar threw/sent Magnus into the future and then was there, with the reminder of the Geomancer, to catch him..

The end of Rai 0 with a new Rai, directly tied to Bloodshot.
I had high hopes; they all fell too little pieces.
I did not like him much but it was another cool way to link two parts of a comic universe separated by thousands of years.
