Anyone have any suggestions/comments and what should be included?

There are a few I know are must haves...
Bone One Volume Edition
The SIP Pocket Editions (I think there's two of them out now).
Ultimate Spidey Hardcover...the one available from Barnes and Noble with the first 6 collections in one volume.
Palomar.
Blankets.
Box Office Poison.
...
Geez...I'm going to stop...I can name these all day.

I'd personally put all the Cerebus phone books on the list, but especially the High Society (issues #26-50).
I'd like to have a first print copy of the Squadron Supreme TPB so I could say I owned a little bit of a comic book writer. When Mark Gruenwald, the writer of the SS mini died, he was cremated and had his ashes mixed in with the ink for the first printing of that trade!
Marvel needs to get it together and get an Essential collection together for Master of Kung Fu. Which other Marvel title kept the same quality writer and artists for such a long run? Doug Moench, Paul Gulacy, Mike Zeck and Gene Day all had very long stays on the book, so the quality was very consistent. Also, unlike today's comics, you could often get a complete story in 22 pages with some action, story and even some genuine character development. Too many comics nowadays feel like you're just buying a chapter of a longer book, and makes you wonder why you don't just wait for the inevitable TPB.

GOLDEN AGE (this is the James Robinson comic, right?) was completed in 1993, so I assume the trade edition was released in at least 1994, so I might count it.WoodyQuantum wrote:Were the Kingdom Come and Golden Age trades by DC released in the last 10 years? If so, I'd include them. Also, I'd include the Bone One Volume Edition, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (both volumes 1 and 2), Wolverine: Origin, Ultimate Spider-Man, and any of the Astro City trades.
KINGDOM COME got collected in a trade in 1997 or 98, so it'd count.

I don't buy many Hard Covers or TPBs so when I do it has to be something I really like. These are the ones I bought in the past 10 years.
Stray Bullets Vol 1 Hard Cover.
Amazing Spideman "Coming Home" TPB (issues 30 to 35)
Bone one volume edition
Marvels 10th anniversary Hard Cover
Magnus vol1 Dark Horse
