It's due in two days (August 10th)
Even though I own all the original issues I'll pick it up to complete the collection and as it won't have a huge print run. Doubt there will be any news contained inside as to the future or death of the Gold Key line but I'll report back if it does. Anyone else picking it up? You know the lines on it's death bed when you get excited about a trade :D

Will also get it. Will probably not pass my dealer right away so any report about the contents is appreciated.

I hope it comes out tomorrow! The print-run should be incredibly low.

A tweet on Twitter where you have to be a subscriber to get it is hardly promoting anything. Facebook page with more followers - Nothing. Dark Horse Main Page - link to the tweet off to the right.

A promotion the day before the release is not a promotion at all. Especially when you have months and other venues (CBR - Bleeding Cool - IGN - Line of Fire and other online comic news outlets) and you wait until 7:00 PM the day before to even mention its release. Bah.

Sorry but Dark Horse still doesn't really give a damn about the Gold Key characters.

Yea, they're only big on easy GK archive reprints. And I bet there was zero mention of the line at the SDCC. Not even by accident have they promoted the line or Shooter. They've tried too hard in keeping quiet about the line and now there's nothing.

Here is a link to the panels they scheduled for SDCC this year - Surprise there was someone who worked with the Gold Key Properties involved -- on the Creepy/Eerie comic panel. :|

Am I the only one that thinks $15 is a bit much for a trade that features 4 full comics and one half of a FCBD comic? I haven't seen any mention of any additional content, so is this really worth it?

I wouldn't pay full price for it. DCBS has it for about $9.50 and amazon has it for around $10.

Nothing to report of any note on the inside, just the comics in trade form. (And an expensive price on the cover!)

Ordered it for $10 on amazon. It's gotta have a lower print run than Magnus/Predator.

Just picked it up, myself. Amazon. Waiting... For the depths of my compulsive completion collection... Sigh...

Got my copy now. Nice looking trade. I like the white outline on the front/back cover.

Got my copy at LCB today. I didn't like the look of it until I put it in a sleeve. Looks noticeably better.

Some books look better when in that sleeve, I think. I didn't plan on reading it - with all of the material already contained in the comic form. I have a bad habit of reading once and damaging ANY kind of TPB, anyway.

Just thought it looked better behind that shiny plastic and a white board, I guess!

Picked up a copy on eBay for $1 plus $4 shipping. Arrived today in a 14x12x8 box filled with packing peanuts, plus the trade was in a heavy envelope with cardboard backing...must have cost $4 just in shipping products. Anyway, I'll see how it looks in a sleeve when I get home and report back. :)
