The Silver Ninjak is actually rarer, but the Silver XO is much harder to come by, I haven't seen an XO in a long time.
I am selling "nothing" on ebay-yet.

Hillman sighting!
I'm a bit overextended at the moment or I would be trying to make a deal for them - a couple of things I do not have....
If you could hold them until the end of the year for me, I would be a buyer.
Good luck with them!

All I see right now are two overpriced bronze rings. One has a 140 dollar BIN and other actually has a bid at 80 bucks.Rufusharley wrote:silver?bosco685 wrote:There's an X-O on Ebay if he doesn't have it here.comicbooks wrote:Do you still have these?

Look at the completed auctions . . . those prices aren't really overpriced anymore . . .Daniel Jackson wrote:All I see right now are two overpriced bronze rings. I have to agree. The relaunch has brought all the old excitement back.siren3-4 wrote:Look at the completed auctions . . . those prices aren't really overpriced anymore . . .Daniel Jackson wrote:All I see right now are two overpriced bronze rings. Or all the old speculation, which could end up being a bad thing for the industry as a whole. Draco can articulate that point better than anyone I know.bosco685 wrote:I have to agree. Re: Valiant Silver Rings For Sale - X-O Manowar & Ninjak
Trust me - I was there watching collectors trade off their prized Silver Age Marvel and DC comics to pick up some of the pre-Unity books to only have these worthless a few years later. It was crazy back then what took place, though I do love Valiant stories and characters. One dealer had a stack of Magnus 0s at a show, and was trading them off for nothing but Silver Age Marvel key appearances.geocarr wrote:Or all the old speculation, which could end up being a bad thing for the industry as a whole. No new comic book should drive that much zaniness. Look at the speculators going crazy over Walking Dead 1, 19, 53 and other character first appearances, and the premiums they are paying for these books. And I do love reading Walking Dead, so I am not bashing Image or the Walking Dead series. But come on - with all the 9.8's out there of Walking Dead 1, and people are paying $1,200 - $1,500 (or more). And don't even drive yourself nuts looking at what some paid for the 9.9's of Walking Dead 1.

The Valiant relaunch, buzz and impatient buyers are definitely impacting the prices right now. They used to sell regularly for 20-30 bucks at the most.geocarr wrote:Or all the old speculation, which could end up being a bad thing for the industry as a whole. Re: Valiant Silver Rings For Sale - X-O Manowar & Ninjak
I hope some of the fanaticism stays.
I know we're off topic now - and certainly there are many a few crazy people hungry to grab - but for me this has been a great opportunity to throw copies quite a few directions. Both to new and old.
Frankly, I'm ecstatic just that the comics are being produced again.
But if the frenzy can drive some people to picking up these old comics - and READING them - then we've really got something.
In my mind, I keep coming back to an interview somewhere over the last few months. The guy - and it may have been Dino - just kept saying, 'the new 52 has been GREAT for us.' I didn't get it. At all.
I get it now.
It makes sense.
I just took a look around the other 'event of the summer - the AVX thing.
Prices are not even CLOSE to where the X-O Manowar one has been selling. SETS of three to seven comics are selling at around $200 - or LESS.
The X-O variant has sold MULTIPLE times over $200.
If I was investing in a new comic, I'd choose the X-O variants over the AVX ones, certainly.
Am I prejudiced? Absolutely. But I would also trade and AVX variants for X-O. I'd sell them, certainly. But...
IF - and I understand it's a BIG if - this Valiant can take off again... We may be at the front end of a BIG curve of insanity. Unfortunately, big curves of insanity don't often last. But even if it kind of lasts for some of the time, then it's a win, right?

Hey, look! I have a podcast!
And a Website!

If I win an argument, it doesn't mean I'm right. It means I'm a better arguer.
In addition, I'm right.

Re: Valiant Silver Rings For Sale - X-O Manowar & Ninjak
I hear you on wanting the excitement again, as Valiant had some of the best material out there. To see it come back again is a dream come true.
If some of the collectors that only read books when they hot finally come around and realize what they were missing in passing up Valiant pre-Unity material, it will be a win to see them start to go after the new material.kevinbastos wrote:IF - and I understand it's a BIG if - this Valiant can take off again...
