Weekly Theme I (24/01/05): Cover Panels

Post by dino »

Someone mentioned the idea of doing a weekly valiant art theme, I figured since it's a Monday it would be a good day to start one. So how about panels that show the same image as the cover for our first theme, here are a few examples:

Panel 1 & the cover of Harbinger #3
Image

Panel 5 & the cover of Shadowman #3
Image

Panel 1 & the cover of Solar #7

I was trying to think of something valiant specific and something that would let me post that shadowman page because I love the fourth panel....even more than the fifth that looks like the cover.

Man, I really appreciate you guys (or should I say y'all) putting these up. Looking at the in-production stuff helps me get a hold on what I need to be doing with pages on the Solar2K4 pages. Gonna hafta put a credit tag up for everyone on this site when we get the book done.

BTW, SonicDan, I enjoyed your "many-faces of Solar" piece you did. Got any more stuff to show?

Heh..sorry Dino. I know how you like Steel Nation stuff. I am very lucky
I was able to buy up some of the early stuff when there was little interest from other collectors.
Glad you guys like the "many faces of Solar" piece. I did it a few years ago and really need to do some new Valiant themed pieces. Blood of Heroes (Anthony K ) has a "many faces of Bloodshot" piece that I did for him posted on his site.

How about "mid-air heroes"...
Find a page with at least one panel of the hero off the ground,
either jumping, flying, or whatever... no feet on the ground.
