Can ya tell me what's revealed in the IGN article? I would look at it myself, but it's blocked here at my school for "games"... :|

It's a interview with Matt Kindt talking him about how he got involved with Valiant and was brought on to do Bloodshot #0

Matt Kindt is a talented writer and I know people who will buy the book just because ChrisCross is on art.

Kindt also seemed to leave the door open for working on other VALIANT projects. I'd be happy with that.

Oh, and does that "Bloodshot" on the lower right look like Rai?

Matt Kindt and Bloodshot #0 is awesome news!

Mind MGMT is BRILLIANT! One of my favorite, most inventive series of the past year.

LOVE this news. I hope we can bring him on board permanently!

I think this looks like a great book. Finally, Bloodshot origins and backstory!

Today's news surprised me in a good way...

I like Matt Kindt, but never put him with Bloodshot (in my head).
Not familiar with ChrisCross though...

Looking forward to this and would be happy if he gets more Valiant work

I loved Matt Kindt's Pistolwhip and Mephisto & the Empty Box. I"ve heard nothing but good things about Mind MGMT. I wonder if this BS #0 will have any nods to the original and expand upon the whole Valiant Universe.

You're probably refering to Matt Kindt's cover. I like his art style on MIND MGMT and like this cover but its obviously not for everyone.

Lupacchino's wrap around cover is pretty sweet

So Duane Swierczynski is off the book?

I'm a little disappoined...

Yeah, I like him. But they can't stay around forever. Thank goodness Josh Dysart is the exception.

Don't be a *SQUEE* and put words in my mouth. You're sarcastically implying I don't like it because it's not like everything else. Take the hipster glasses off and see my comment for what it is.

First, I don't read much other than Valiant. Second, they've had some pretty non-standard covers thusfar. There's been a lot of varying opinions on across the board, regardless of how 'mainstream' or otherwise each cover has been.

I don't like it. I think the sketches look like napkin doodles. As for everything Valiant has put out as a cover or even as promo art, that's the worst in my eyes.

I don't care for that artwork personally, but I'll get over it. So Kindt is just writing the #0 issue only, right? Or is he the ongoing writer from that point forward?

Looking forward to getting more info on Bloodshot's past, even if he won't know all of it himself! That opens up some neat storytelling possibilities if the audience knows stuff the character doesn't in the story. Like in a movie where you're yelling at the screen "Don't kiss her Luke! She's your SISTERRRRRR!!!" Except with Bloodshot, it'd more likely be "Don't kill HER Bloodshot, she's your MOTHER!!! Ooops, too late, you beheaded her with a salad fork..." facepalm

I don't even know why I need a salad fork, I still washed it. You never know, you may need to kill your own mother with it.
