Can we please have De La Torre for one full SM arc? ...
He is absolutely perfect for this title
absolutely amazing pages.
Using the bunny to lure kids out of hiding - nice touch JJ, its brutal, but nice touch

Awesome!
I'm starting to think this should become Master Darque's book.

Agree, Del Torre seems like an ideal artist for this book. Might not be able to draw fast enough for a monthly though which would explain why he oly does fill ins here and there.

Re: Shadowman #8 Preview Pages
My Shadowman issue by issue grades
#1 - Very Good/Great (8.5/10) Great introduction to the characters. Beautiful Art
#2 - solid/good (7.5/10) - intro to Lyceum. Interesting tid bits about how magic works.
#3 - solid (7/10) - intro to deadside. Meets his father at the deadside gates.
#4 - bump in the road. (6/10) Wasn't a perfectly executed closing issue to the arc. A little jumbled and confusing.
#5 - Very Good/Great (8.5/10) Great intro to Saturday, Dr. Mirage and Baron Samedi. Top notch De La Torre dead side pages
#6 - Bump in the road (5/10) After a great #5 a bit of a 'meh' issue.
#0 - AWESOME (10/10) - best re-launched Valiant comic to date. One of my fav single issues ever.
#7 - Bump in the road (5/10) Some really good things so still enjoyable read but a lot of dialogue and art that seemed clunky in places.
Even the ones that are 'bumps in the road' I still enjoyed those issues. I have developed really high expectations when it comes to Valiant comics. I'm starting to expect every issue to be a home run ... and when they are not its a bit of a let down..

Glad to see some De La Torre in #8 - I missed seeing him do the deadside scenes in #7.
I like to draw stuff... http://grendeljd.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
My wife likes to draw stuff too, and she is better than me! [I'm very proud of her]... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Dec ... ref=stream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
